Man arrested after suspicious items found at property in Broomhill Drive, Glasgow

Broomhill Drive has been reopened after suspicious items were found within a property following a pre-planned search on Thursday, 15 February, 2024.

The majority of residents have been allowed back into their homes however a small number of properties remain evacuated and a cordon is in place as a precaution.

A 50-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 16 February, 2024.
