Drugs recovered from vehicles in East Kilbride

Cocaine and cannabis worth £1600 and £5,500 in cash has been recovered from vehicles in East Kilbride and Rutherglen areas.

On Thursday 8th February 2024 a vehicle was stopped and searched in Ardberg Avenue, Rutherglen 
On Friday 9th February 2024 a vehicle was stopped and searched in The Boardwalk, East Kilbride.
On Saturday 10th February 2024 a vehicle was stopped and searched in Eaglesham Road, East Kilbride

Two men, aged 19 and 23, were arrested and charged in connection with drug offences and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal. A third man, aged 30, has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
