Man arrested after driving wrong way on A90

On Thursday, 19 December, 2024, officers received reports of a vehicle travelling the wrong way on the A90 near Ellon, Aberdeenshire.  ​ 

A 40-year-old man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries are ongoing.

Inspector Gordon Dickson from North East Road Policing Unit said: "Our officers will continue to work relentlessly to keep our roads safe."

During our festive campaign, officers will be working with communities and patrolling roads across Scotland from 1 December 2024 until 19 January 2025.
