Three youths arrested and charged over Kirkcaldy fire

Three male youths have been arrested and charged in connection with wilful fire-raising at a derelict building in Kirkcaldy.

The incident was reported around 3pm on Sunday, 3 September at the disused premises on Hunter Street.

Nobody was injured.

The three youths, all aged 15, will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Gordon Stanford said: “We know this incident has had a significant impact in Kirkcaldy and we would like to offer our thanks to the local community and partners in the emergency services for their assistance in this investigation.”
