Man charged in connection with death on A85, Oban

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man following a fatal road crash on the A85 in Oban.

The crash involved a pedestrian and an ambulance on Corran Esplanade around 1.35am on Wednesday, 6 September, 2023.

The male pedestrian, 39-year-old Robert Bromell, died following the crash.

The 20-year-old is due to appear at Oban Sheriff Court on Monday, 18 September.
