Man charged in connection with death of man in Lanark

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 31-year-old man in Lanark on Wednesday, 4 October, 2023.

Around 10pm, police were called to an address in Braxfield Terrace, Lanark. Police and Ambulance attended and the 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

He can be named as Christopher McMahon of Braxfield Terrace, Lanark.

The 27-year-old man is due to appear at Lanark Sheriff Court on Monday, 9 October, 2023.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
