Two men arrested and charged in connection with shoplifting in Aucherarder and Kinross

Two men have been arrested and charged following a string of shoplifting incidents in Auchterarder and Kinross.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with nine shoplifting incidents at a supermarket premises on the High Street in Auchterarder which happened between 30 October 2023 and 12 November 2023.

The goods taken amounted to a three figure sum.

He appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 14 November, 2023.

A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with six shoplifting incidents at a supermarket premises on Station Road in Kinross which happened between 27 October 2023 and 16 November 2023.

The value of the goods stolen in these six incidents amounted to around £2,000.

He appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 22 November, 2023.
