Arrests following fire-raising in Lochgelly

Three men have been arrested in connection with a wilful fire-raising in Lochgelly.

The incident occurred at Station Road on 8 February, 2023.

Two men, aged, 28 and 42 were arrested on 9 February, 2023. They appeared in court on 10 February, 2023.

On Friday, 31 March, 2023, a third man was arrested and charged in connection with this incident. He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, 3 April, 2023.

Detective Inspector Kieran Marsh said: “We’re aware this incident caused concern in the local community, however, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their assistance and cooperation in this investigation.”
