Two charged after drugs worth more than £80k recovered in Kilwinning

Cocaine and cannabis worth a combined street value of more than £80,000 has been recovered after a search of a property in Kilwinning.

Officers from the Ayrshire Proactive Crime Team acting on intelligence executed a warrant at a property on Highfield Street on Thursday, 15 June.

A man, 51, and a woman, 53, have been arrested and charged with drug offences.

They are both due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday, 16 June.
