Man arrested and charged in connection with serious sexual assault in Aberdeen

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into a serious sexual assault of a woman in the Cove area of Aberdeen. He has also been charged with attempted murder.

The incident occurred around 9.15pm on Saturday, 10 June, 2023 at a property in Charleston Road North.

We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident however there will continue to be a police presence in the area.

A 31-year-old man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 13 June, 2023. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
