On Friday, 9 June, officers acting under warrant, entered a house in Inverlochy, Fort William and discovered a cannabis cultivation. The plants have a potential street value of more than £100,000.

A 48-year-old man was arrested in connection with the recovery. He was due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday 12 June, 2023.

Detective Inspector Andrew Bilton said: "I would like to thank the public for their co-operation during this operation and to remind everyone to be alert to any suspicious activity ongoing in your neighbourhoods and be assured that we will take the appropriate action."
