Man charged in connection with fatal crash in Inverclyde in October, 2022

A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in Inverclyde which happened on Saturday, 15 October, 2022.

Around 11.25pm two cars, a Toyota Yaris travelling south and northbound VW Golf, collided on the A78 near Inverkip.

The 59-year-old male driver of the Toyota Yaris was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he died a short time later.

The 23-year-old will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
