Man charged after fatal crash involving cyclist in Glasgow

A 69-year-old man has been charged in connection with a collision which resulted in the death of a cyclist in Glasgow.

The incident happened on Broomielaw around 10.10am on Friday, 27 January, 2023 and involved the cyclist and an HGV.

The cyclist, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she died a short time later.

The man will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
