Man arrested and charged following drugs recovery in Aberdeen

A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged after drugs with an estimated value of £333,000 were recovered in the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen.

On Tuesday, 15 August, 2023, a warrant was carried out at a property in the Jesmond Grange area, when cannabis was recovered.

The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 16 August, 2023.

Sergeant Kevin Ross said: “This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

“Drugs bring misery to our communities and this recovery will remove a significant amount of drugs from them.
