Appeal following crash in Dunbar involving a cyclist and a car

Officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a cyclist and car in Dunbar.

The incident happened around 10.14am on Sunday, 23 April, on the High Street at the junction with Brewery Lane.

The cyclist, a 79-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

The driver of the silver Vauxhall Astra, a 60-year-old woman, was not injured.

Police Constable Stewart Logan said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened are ongoing.

“Anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage that can assist is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 1121 of Sunday, 23 April, 2023.”
