Man, 44, charged over armed robbery in Clydebank

A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery at Clydebank Shopping Centre.

The incident happened around 9.10am on Saturday, 1 October.

He has also been charged in connection with an attempted robbery at a supermarket on Queen Margaret Drive in Glasgow, which happened around 12.50pm on Saturday, 1 October.

He is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 3 October.
