Images released as detectives investigate an assault in Edinburgh

Police in Edinburgh have released images of two males they believe may hold information that will assist their ongoing enquiries into an assault that occurred on Princes Street, Edinburgh at around midnight on Wednesday 22nd December 2021.

The first male is described as in his early 20s, around 5’11” in height and of slim build with a dark moustache and goatee. He was wearing a dark woollen hat, a black puffer jacket and dark trousers.

The second male is described as in his early 20s, about 5’9” in height and of slim build with short light brown hair. He was wearing a navy jumper and grey trousers.

The males or anyone who recognises them or who has any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 1904 of 22nd December 2021, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
