Man named following fatal fire in Brydekirk

Police Scotland can confirm a man who died in a fire at a property on Lady Street, Brydekirk, Annan, on Monday, 31 October, 2022, was 79-year-old Peter Scott, from Brydekirk.

Emergency services were called to the fire around 9.40am.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
