Motorcyclist dies following crash on A814 which happened on Monday, 6 June, 2022

A 73-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash on A814 which happened on Monday, 6 June, 2022.

The one vehicle crash involving a green Yamaha motor cycle happened at the roundabout junction with the A817 Hall Road and the A814 just above Garelochhead, at around 4.25pm.

Sergeant Hugh Niccolls of Dumbarton Road Policing Unit said : “The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment, where sadly he succumbed to injuries yesterday evening (Friday, 17 June, 2022). Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

“Our investigations are continuing and anyone who witnessed the crash, should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2486 of Monday, 6  June.”
