Fatal fire in Round Riding Road, Dumbarton

A 72-year-old man has died following a fire in Dumbarton on Thursday, 2 June.

Around 7.45pm on Thursday evening, police were called to a fire at a flat in Round Riding Road.  A 72-year-old man was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of the fire, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.  A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
