Man charged in connection with serious sexual assault in Paisley

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious sexual assault in Paisley on Saturday, 16 July, 2022.

At around 9pm on Saturday, a 44-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while walking in the Durrockstock Park area of the town.

The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, 22 July, 2022. A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
