Second man charged in connection with the death of John Dalziel, Paisley

Police Scotland can confirm that a second man has been charged in connection with the death of John Dalziel in Paisley.

The 57-year-old is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 26 January, 2022.

Mr Dalziel, 47, was found within a property on Whitesbridge Avenue in the town after emergency services were called to a report of a fire around 10.05pm on Thursday, 6 May, 2021.

He died shortly after he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow.

A 38-year-old man has already been charged in connection with the death and appeared in court in May, 2021.
