Man arrested and charged following sexual assault in Inverness

A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the sexual assault of a 35-year-old woman in Inverness.

The incident happened around 2.15am on Wednesday, 24 November, 2021, in the Brown Street area of the city.

The man is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday, 3 January, 2022.
