Man charged following car fires in Motherwell

Police in Motherwell can confirm that a 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into a number of vehicle fires.

The incidents took place in McTaggart Crescent on Monday, 24 January, and Sunday, 30 January. The man is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today (Monday, 14 February).

Detective Inspector David Lamont said: "I'd like to thank the local community for their assistance with this investigation."
