Man arrested and charged after couple robbed of car in Kilmarnock

Officers have arrested and charged a 31-year-old man after a couple were robbed of their vehicle in Kilmarnock.

The incident reportedly happened around 6.25pm on Wednesday 5 January, 2022, in Low Glencairn Street at the junctions of Maggie’s Bar and Kitchen and the Lidl Supermarket.

The man is due to appear in Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 1 February, 2022. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
