Appeal for information following assault in Troon

Officers are appealing for information after a 76-year-old woman was assaulted on Wood Road, Troon around 7pm on Monday, 31 October, 2022.

The male suspect demanded money before assaulting the woman and running off.

The suspect is described as 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing dark clothing.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information which could assist our investigation should call police via 101, quoting incident number 2612 of 27 November, 2022.
