Update - Attempted murder, Paisley

Police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man in connection with an attempted murder in Paisley.

A 24-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Stock Street, Paisley around 9pm on Saturday, 30 July, 2022.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow by ambulance for treatment.

The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 3 August, 2022.
