Man arrested in connection with drugs offences in Ayrshire

Around 7.10pm on Tuesday, 23 August 2022, officers acting under warrant, searched a house in Netherthird Road, Cumnock.

A quantity of Class A and B drugs, believed to be cocaine and cannabis, were recovered with a potential street value of approximately £270,000. A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure. He was due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Wednesday 24 August, 2022.

Detective Sergeant Terry McEwan said: “Combatting drugs remains a high priority for us.
