Man arrested following series of incidents in Stirling

Police in Stirling have arrested and charged a 24-year-old man in connection with a number of robberies and an assault which took place in the Riverside, Gowanhill and Old Stirling Bridge areas, between Thursday, 11 August, and Saturday, 13 August.

The man is expected to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court on Monday, 15 August.

Detective Inspector Emma Patrick, from Forth Valley CID said: “We’d like to thank the local community for their assistance and understanding as officers have carried out their investigation. Further enquiries into these incidents remain ongoing at this time.”
