Appeal for information after wilful fireraising in Greenock

Officers are appealing for information after a wilful fireraising in Greenock on Sunday, 31 July.

Around 4.35am on Sunday morning, officers were called after a BMW 1 series car was set on fire on Cartsburn Street.

Police Constable Agnieszka Telford said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the fire to get in touch with us as part of our enquiries.

“Anyone with information should contact officers on 101 quoting incident number 0951 of 31 July.”
