Two men charged following disturbance in Rutherglen

Officers have arrested and charged two men in connection with a disturbance that occurred on Main Street in Rutherglen around 2.45pm on Sunday, 3 April, 2022.

The men, aged 19 and 33, will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Inspector Susie Cairns, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “While we have made two arrests in relation to this incident, our investigation is ongoing to identify those involved in the disorder.”
