Officers in Coatbridge are appealing for witnesses after wilful fire-raising in the town.

Around 12.05am, on Friday 22 April 2022, a van was set alight on High Burnside Court.

The suspect is described as white of average build. He was wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and grey beanie hat and light coloured trainers.

Detective Constable Craig McLean from Coatbridge Police Office said: "The suspect runs along High Burnside Avenue towards Burnside Walk, and turns right towards Kirkwood Street before going out of sight.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV footage or dash-cam footage from the area to get in touch."
