Chief Inspector Stephen Hazlett is the Area Commander for Glasgow East. He is responsible for the daily management of policing, and making sure outcomes within the Local Policing Plan are delivered.
He is supported by Inspector John Gormlie and Inspector Alan MacIntyre, who both have responsibility for the Local Problem Solving teams.
Both Stephen and Alan are based at Shettleston Police Station, with John based at London Road Police Station.
Calton covers Calton, Bridgeton, Camlachie and Dalmarnock. The area includes several business parks, including Glasgow Forge Retail Park. In addition to this it is home to two of the largest sporting facilities in Glasgow, Celtic Park and Emirates Sports Centre.
East Centre covers Riddrie, Carntyne, Cranhill, South Carntyne, Springboig and Barlanark. The area is primarily home to a large range of housing, with a mixture of council and privately owned properties.
Dennistoun covers Sighthill, Royston, Townhead, Dennistoun and Haghill. The area is primarily home to a large range of housing, with a mixture of council and privately owned properties.
