Area Commander Chief Inspector Gerry Corrigan is the Area Commander for East Dunbartonshire. He is responsible for the daily management of policing, and making sure outcomes within the Local Policing Plan are delivered. He is supported by Inspector Ewan Henderson, who has responsibility for the Local Problem Solving teams. Both Gerry and Ewan are based at Kirkintilloch Police Station.
