Area Commander Chief Inspector Drew Sinclair is the Area Commander and is responsible for policing in the Clackmannanshire Area. Drew is based at Alloa Police Office. Clackmannanshire Clackmannanshire is Scotland's smallest local authority covering an area of 61 square miles and with a population of around 50,050 people. Clackmannanshire, however, has very different communities - both rural and urban - which require different policing approaches and which have different priorities. Clackmannanshire also has areas which are considered very affluent and others which are considered amongst Scotland's most deprived. Clackmannanshire faces key challenges which impact on how local policing will be shaped and delivered. These key challenges include increasing population numbers, continued periods of low economic growth, rising unemployment, welfare reform and anticipated reductions in families incomes. Your Priorities We are acting on priorities to influence policing activity in your area. For more information see the Multi Member Ward plans in your local pages.
