Serious road crash on Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow
Road Policing Officers are appealing for information after a man was struck by a car in Glasgow City Centre on Saturday, 25 November, 2023.
Around 10pm, the 32-year-old man was walking on Cowcaddens Road, between its junctions with Cambridge Street and Hope Street, when he was struck by a Ford Ecosport.
Police and Ambulance attended and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where staff describe his condition as critical.
The female driver of the car was uninjured.
Sergeant Jack Swindells of the Road Policing Unit based at Helen Street, Glasgow said: “Our investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident is ongoing.
“I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist to contact us. I would also urge anyone driving on the road around the time of the crash with dashcam footage to get in touch.”
