Appeal for help to trace missing John Miller, last seen in Cumbernauld

Officers are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 48-year-old man reported missing from Cumbernauld.

John Miller, was last seen in the Millcroft Road area of the town around 5pm on Monday, 10 November, 2025. 

John is described as being white, of medium build, 5ft 6ins tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and has tattoos. John is described as being white, of medium build, 5ft 6ins tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and has tattoos including the name Karen on his arm. When last seen he was wearing a blue tracksuit and grey trainers.

He has links to the east end of Glasgow and could have travelled to the city.

Sergeant Ryan McAuley said: “We are concerned for John's welfare and want to make sure he is alright.

"If anyone has seen someone matching John's description since 5pm please contact police.

"Anyone with private CCTV or dash cam footage from around that area today, please check to see if you have captured anyone matching his description."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident 3027 of 10 November.
