Image released as part of enquiries into robbery in Cumnock
Detectives in East Ayrshire have released an image of a man they believe can assist with enquiries into a robbery in Cumnock.
The incident took place within Hamilton Place, around 2.40pm on Monday, 20 October, 2025.
The man is described as being white, of medium height and build, in his 40s with a local accent. He was wearing a hat and a yellow/cream coloured padded jacket, with the left pocket ripped revealing a red lining. He was also wearing black trousers and tan/brown shoes, and a black backpack.
Detective Constable Chris Pringle, from Kilmarnock CID, said: “We are appealing for the man in this image, or anyone who recognises him, to please come forward, as we believe he can assist our enquiries.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 1788 of 20 October, 2025. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
