Appeal to trace Donald Macleod, 40, reported missing on Lewis

Officers are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 40-year-old man reported missing on the Isle of Lewis.

Donald Macleod was last seen around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 12 November, in the centre of Stornoway.

He was driving his red Volkswagon Golf, registration CV63 LFZ, on Willowglen Road.

Donald is described as 5ft 8ins, of slim build, with greying hair. When last seen he was wearing a black jacket, blue cargo trousers and a black hat.

Sergeant Robert Shirkie said: “Concerns are growing for Donald’s welfare and it is important that we make sure he is safe and well.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Donald or his car, or knows where he might be, to get in touch.”
