Appeal to trace David Docherty, 75, reported missing in Dundee

Officers are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 75-year-old man reported missing in Dundee.

David Docherty was last seen around 1pm on Saturday, 8 November, in the Charleston Road area of the city.

He is described as around 5ft 9ins, of slim build with grey hair and goatee beard. When last seen he was wearing a navy jacket, black trousers and black and white trainers. He uses a walking stick.

Inspector Mahboob Ahmad said: “Concerns are growing for David’s welfare and it is important that we make sure he is safe and well.

“We are asking anyone who has seen David or knows where he might be to get in touch.

“Please check gardens, sheds and outbuildings in case he has sought shelter.”

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 3812 of Saturday, 8 November, 2025.
