Appeal to trace Annie Whyte missing from Burntisland

Officers are appealing for the help of the public to trace Annie Whyte, 72, who has been reported missing from Burntisland.

Annie was last seen around 10.20pm on Friday, 14 November, 2025, in the Cromwell Road area of Burntisland.

She is described as 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build with short blonde. When last seen, she was wearing a grey zip up sweatshirt, grey joggers, cream trainers and may be wearing black glasses.

Sergeant Keith Dickson said: “Concerns are growing for Annie’s welfare, and we are keen to trace her as soon as possible to make sure she is safe.

“I am asking that anyone who has seen someone matching Annie’s description, or knows where she may be, get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3876 of 14 November, 2025.
