Appeal following serious crash on the M90 at Craigend, Perth
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the M90 at Craigend, Perth.
The crash involving a white Volvo HGV with trailer happened near Friarton Bridge, around 7.30am on Tuesday, 6 May, 2025.
Emergency services attended and the 38-year-old male driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
The road remains closed while repairs are carried out and drivers are asked to avoid the area. It is expected to re-open this afternoon.
Sergeant David Farr said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed it who hasn’t already spoken to officers to come forward.
“I would also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the area around the time of the crash to contact us as it could assist with our enquiries.”
