Man charged following disturbance, Carnmhor Road, Bonar Bridge
Around 9.15pm on Thursday, 17 July, 2025, officers were called to a report of a disturbance on Carnmhor Road, Bonar Bridge.
Emergency services attended, and a 50-year-old woman was found injured. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday, 21 July, 2025.
Detective Inspector Calum Reid said: “We understand that an incident like this can cause concern in a small local community. However, this is being treated as an isolated incident with no threat to the wider public.
“Officers remain in the area as part of our enquiries and anyone with concerns can approach them.”
