Appeal following armed robbery at premises on Budhill Avenue, Glasgow
Detectives are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a premises in Glasgow.
Around 7pm on Sunday, 20 July, 2025, two men entered a store on Budhill Avenue and threatened staff with what are believed to have been firearms before making off with a three-figure sum of cash.
The 29-year-old male staff member did not require hospital treatment.
The first man is described as white, wearing a long black Berghaus jacket with a logo on the rear of the hood, a black face covering and black trainers with a white sole.
The second man is described as white, wearing a royal blue/black and white tracksuit top with a white Nike log on the chest, dark tracksuit bottoms, light coloured trainers and a red and white beanie hat with writing on the front.
Detective Sergeant Alan Gray said: “This was a frightening incident for staff in the shop and it's vital we trace those responsible.
“I'm appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the men, or who recognises the description of them, to come forward.
“I would also appeal to anyone with dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to contact us.”
