Man arrested following death in Strathspey Place, Inverness

A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 32-year-old man in Inverness.

Around 8.30am on Thursday, 4 December, 2025, officers were called to a house in Strathspey Place, Inverness.

Emergency services attended and the 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Inspector Caroline MacKay said: “A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death and extensive enquiries are ongoing.

“Additional patrols are being carried out in the area to provide public reassurance and anyone with concerns should speak to officers.”
