Appeal for information following death of cyclist on B9006
Officers are appealing for information following the death of a man on the B9006 at Westhill near Inverness.
The incident happened around 8.45am on Saturday, 30 August, 2025, when a 72-year-old man died after coming off a turquoise Bianchi pedal bike.
The road was closed and reopened around 11.30am.
Sergeant Neil MacDonald said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died at this difficult time.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to any witnesses to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
