Man arrested and charged in connection with Elgin wilful fire

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a wilful fire in Elgin.

Officers were called to a premises on Hill Street around 2am on Friday, 21 June, 2024.

The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of injuries.

The man is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Monday, 24 June.
