A9 closed southbound at the junction with the A96 following crash

Around 1.40am on Friday, 20 December, officers were called to a report of a one-vehicle crash on the A9 near Inshes, Inverness.

Emergency services remain at the scene.

The A9 road is closed southbound at the junction with A96 Raigmore Interchange and the Miton of Leys junction at the top of Drumossie Brae.

A9 Northbound and access to the A96 eastbound remain open.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
