Update - Attempted murder and disturbance, Bearsden

Following police enquiries, a 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Bearsden.

The incident took place in Spey Road, Bearsden on Sunday, 19 November, 2023.

He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday, 23 November, 2023.

A 40-year-old man was earlier arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance.

He was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 November, 2023.

Enquiries are ongoing and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
