Officers have charged a man following the death of a 38-year-old in Rutherglen
A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 38-year-old Stuart McGeachie in Rutherglen.
Around 7pm on Tuesday, 24 October, 2023, officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Farmeloan Road, at the junction with Victoria Street.
Mr McGeachie was assaulted outside premises on Farmeloan Road before making his way to a nearby flat where he was pronounced dead.
A 27-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 6 November, 2023.
